Vodafone-Idea New Rs 189 Plan Offers 2GB And Unlimited Calls

The telephone service provider Vodafone-Idea has launched a new prepaid plan called Rs 189 for subscribers of both companies.

According to this new plan, Idea users have 56 days of unlimited STD calls and local calls as well as 2GB data and 100 SMS.

However, a FUP limit is set for this new pack. This restriction means that the maximum of calling time per day is 250 minutes and per week is 1,000 minutes.

That’s not all. During the course of 56 days - the validity period of the pack, subscribers can only call 100 unique numbers. This new Rs 189 plan from Idea is available for a selected group of users only for now. Many independent third parties have confirmed this information with the telco.

There is one thing subscribers of Vodafone and Idea should know. This new pack is among the newest offerings from Idea after the two companies merged in August so the benefits of this pack are in accordance with some of the interests that subscribers have already had from Vodafone.

This new prepaid plan of Vodafone-Idea is formulated in answer to the Rs 198 pack from Reliance Jio. This telephone service giant also offers 100 SMS, 2GB, and unlimited calls but no FUP limit and the validity time is just 28 days.

Idea’s Rs 189 plan comes with longer time but less data, while the Reliance Jio’s equivalent pack provides way more data but has a shorter validity period.

Besides the calling time and data, the Rs 198 pack gives users free access to many of Jio suite apps such as JioCinema, JioTV, JioMusic, just to name a few.

Vodafone-Idea recently narrowed down the unlimited plans to three talktime packs, which are Rs 10, Rs 1,000, and Rs 5,000.

Idea also had another prepaid plan called Rs 159. This pack comes with unlimited local and national calls, 1GB, and 100 SMS a day. The beneficial period is 28 days.
