Report: VMware Cloud Will Soon Run On AWS In The Indian Market

VMware Cloud on AWS has been available in many different industries including healthcare, manufacturing, government, education, technology, and professional services.

On May 14, VMware, a global software leader in cloud infrastructure technology, made an announcement saying that the Indian market will soon add VMware Cloud on AWS or Amazon Web Services.
As a Cloud arm of Amazon, the VMware Cloud on AWS aims to build a digital foundation that helps its partners and customers to conduct digital transformation strategies. After the service is added to the AWS Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region, users can now access it in 14 regions all over the world.
As expected, Indian customers can make use of the advantages of the VMware Cloud on AWS before May ends.
According to Arun Parameswaran as the Managing Director, VMware India,
He further said,
VMware Cloud Foundation, also known as the VMware platform using SDDC, offers an easy way to deploy VMware Cloud on AWS.
VMware partners with AWS to develop this service that works on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). In addition, it is optimized to help customers to approach AWS services as well as strong disaster protection.
Navdeep Manaktala, who is a business development leader of Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL), said that “VMware Cloud on AWS will enable users to reduce the cost and effort associated with migrating applications to the cloud.”
On May 14-15, Amazon Web Services hosted a summit in India.
As per VMware Cloud on AWS, the platform aims at those who bring permanent or temporary workload with the highest flexibility to their IT architecture.
It has been available all over the world in many different industries including healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, financial services, oil & gas, education, technology, and professional services.
