In spite of the company’s efforts, Twitter users don’t feel happy with its new design on the desktop version. On July 16, they even showed their dissatisfaction and said that the famous social networking service had a completely unnecessary action when bringing mobile experience to the desktop version.

The new version of Twitter was launched in the whole world before coming to India a few days ago. Twitter has decided to delete the profile and photo option that was previously put on the top left of the app’s interface. However, without “Profile”, users won’t be able to know who they are talking with.
A lot of users are now frustrated with the new design as well as tweaks of Twitter. To express their opinions, they posted a series of GIFs, memes, and angry tweets.
A Twitter account said, “Do not fix what’s not broken.”

Another account tweeted,

In the updated website, the company brings more experience to its users in What’s Happening section, as well as allows them to enjoy many other features such as Lists, Profiles, and Bookmarks.
In addition, those who download the new version of this app can give a try on the Direct Messages section. They also change between many various accounts in a shorter time, and even directly from Twitter’s side navigation.
Dark themes like Lights Out and Dim are included. Many options from Notification, Messages, Explore, and Home are also moved to the desktop’s left side. Meanwhile, users can find the trending section at the screen’s right.
If the new design has gained the approval from Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, many think that Dorsey and his company will probably face the same destiny of CEO Evan Spiegel and Snapchat since he accepted a redesign in February last year.
At that time, many called Snapchat’s new design a disaster. As a result, the number of users of the famous messaging app had a sharp decrease only one month later. After that, the company had no choice but to recover the “reverse chronological order” feature which helped its users to update new stories first.
