On May 17, App Annie revealed the breaking news concerning one of the most famous battle royale games in recent times – PUBG Mobile. Accordingly, the game has set up a new record: it reached more than 100 million active users per month. More notably, user statistics don’t contain the data from the Chinese region.

According to an app analytics platform Sensor Tower, PUBG Mobile players spend the total amount of $438.8 million buying the game on both App Store and Google Play Store. While players spent about $2 billion on battle royale games, the PUBG-like game called Knives Out held the first position as the most-bought title. As per the mobile version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, it stands behind Fortnite whose revenue just hails from the iOS platform with more than $600 million.
In recent times, PUBG Mobile has introduced a new feature and update. In terms of its new feature called ‘GamePlay Management’, this system aims at all players under the age of 18. They must comply with a gaming advisory, as well as reveal their real age.
In addition, the game will help players below 18 to know when to stop the game or have a break. The feature is now applicable in some North African and Asian countries and India is one among those.

Along with Season 7, PUBG Mobile released a 0.12.5 update that adds more exclusive emotes, outfits, as well as additional rewards to Royale Pass Season 7. Besides, players will have a chance to experience exclusive discounts and open crates instantly via an EZ Mission License. One of the most interesting additions in the 0.12.5 update comes from a series of new weapons and equipment such as ‘S korpion’, clothing, new parachutes, and airplane skins.
Also, the game expands its existing servers with the Middle East server. In this update, developers bring a lot of in-game updates and adjustments.
