Ola Plans To Employ Over 100 Freshers From Top Engineering Colleges

Ola is aiming at top institutes and business schools in the nation, from the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

On September 17, Ola announced that it would employ more than 100 freshers from B-schools and engineering colleges for a variety of job positions including research engineers, business analysts, and product developers. The plan will take place in the upcoming 6-12 months.

At present, its labor forces have reportedly crossed more than 7,000 employees.

The Indian ride-hailing company is aiming at top institutes and business schools in the nation, from the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) like Lucknow, Calcutta, Bangalore, and Ahmedabad, to premium institutes such as BITS Pilani, XLRI, NIT, ISB, or the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) like Madras, Delhi, Guwahati, and Roorkee. This move is supposed to be a part of the company’s campus placement program called Campus Connect. Ola stated:

At present, its labor forces have reportedly crossed more than 7,000 employees. Their duties include financial services, fleet management, food service, mobility, and many other areas.

In addition, Ola is deploying ‘Elevate’ - an employee-centric learning program which lasts 12 months and aims to establish the smooth campus recruitment process from institutes and schools to the workforces.

The company has been in contact with leaders from many various business verticals, as well as spent much time orienting driver-partners. They also meet leadership at dark kitchens, call centers, and Ola kiosks at large transit hubs.
