AMD has gradually shifted its plan into making graphics cards, and it doesn’t seem to be a surprise as Nvidia is looking for another game to put its effort in the right way. As part of that, the company recently shed light on its latest G-Sync displays at the annual even CES 2020.

In particular, the G-Sync monitors will focus on competitive gamers and e-sports fans because of their need for the hardware’s speed, which plays a vital role in every winning. These displays boast a blazing-fast refresh rate of 360Hz. In comparison, the existing highest refresh rate is just 300Hz, and a bunch of displays and gaming monitors in the current market are even 144Hz or 60Hz, which is a far cry from the said figure owned by G-Sync displays.
These G-Sync displays will feature VRR technology (Variable Refresh Rate), which is also developed by Nvidia. This technology actually helps the monitor synchronize its refresh rate with the frame rate of GPU to smooth the gaming experience while refreshing the frames once every 2.8ms.

Along with some Nvidia-labeled hardware like the powerful RTX graphics cards, users will have a chance to climb to the leaderboards. In fact, the company has teamed up with Asus to launch this cutting-edge gaming display with the introduction of Asus ROG Swift 360 – a 360Hz 24.6-inch gaming display powered by G-Sync VRR technology.
Information about the price and launch date are not revealed yet, but it’s expected to arrive in the coming months.
