India's biggest Internet Service Provider Reliance Jio announced new security amount for its Jio GigaFiber broadband plan.

Jio GigaFiber is the latest technology in the field of internet. It is a service that provides high-speed internet for surfing webs, streaming, playing games and other important tasks over the internet without buffering. This high-speed internet would be favorable for Google Stadia.
New Announcements About Jio GigaFiber
Now, let's come to the important points of these announcements. According to the new plan, consumers are required to deposit a security amount of Rs 2,500 for its new single band router which is reasonable/affordable for the lower income level group. This amount of security deposit is cheaper than the original optical network terminal device as the original is superior to the new one. The new router will give internet access to the users but it comes with single band support as mentioned above and gives a limited speed of 50 Mbps to users. In addition, it has been confirmed that the new plan will come with the Jio TV app.

Deorukhar said that the new router wouldn't support 5GHz Wi-Fi but it will be able to support 2.4GHz b/g/n Wi-Fi band, which is still a little bit disappointing. In this 10/100 Gigabit, Ethernet port is present on the back side along with three RJ45, one RJ11 connector and one USB 2.0 port and router will be shipped in Black color. Jio is also giving a feature of voice calling in its new GigaFiber device version by which users can easily make calls directly through GigaFiber.
Despite its low price, Reliance Jio gives 1,100 GB free monthly internet data with its new optical network terminal (ONT) device.
Reliance Jio earlier launched its GigaFiber Home Gateway which comes with dual-band support of 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz and it offers high upload and download speed up to 1 Gbps, but according to current plans, it is limited to 100 Mbps.
