When talking about its offline strategy in India in the future, Huawei revealed its plan in 2019 to establish 100 monopolistic experience zones with the support of retail partners.
In the Quarter 2 2018, the Chinese company was only behind Samsung in providing smartphones to the Indian market which is now a delicious pie for the top brands all over the world like Apple, Chinese, and Huawei.
To meet the rising demand in India, this company has rolled out a range of premium Mate series phones; of which, the latest handset – the Mate 20 Pro came to light for Rs 69,990 on Tuesday. Not long ago, Huawei only expanded its share in the India market via Honor series smartphones as an essential move to compete with its rivals.
At present, along with its new smartphones, Huawei has clearly paid much more attention to the premium segment which the top brands like Apple, Samsung, and OnePlus are dominating.
India has become an essential part of the development path of the company. Until now, Huawei has built up an R&D center in India which is allegedly the largest facility among all of its facilities across the world. Also, the Indian R&D engineers have participated in the production of its other products including EMUI 9.0 OS and Kirin 980 chipset.
The Android Pie-based OS – EMUI 9.0 OS, more especially, sports a lot of features which aim to the Indian market like language support and more efficiently built-in Paytm app. As per the Mate 20 Pro smartphone, it includes several India-centric features thanks to the Huawei India R&D team’s primary support.
