This year, with the launch of iOS 13 and WatchOS 6, Apple will offer several improved features to users through its Activity and Health apps. Hopefully, this will help users have a more comprehensive picture of their physical activity as well as useful data.

Activity Trends: observing on 365 days
The Activity app on Apple Watch has nothing much than a record of how often users finish 3 rings of activity each day. However, Activity Trends will indicate visuals of the progress in many sectors over time. Besides, it’ll also give a better view of when users do great or not.
Sadly, you can’t see those trends on the Apple Watch, you can only enjoy them with an iOS 13 phone. Before trends begin to run on the application of Apple, it requires Apple Watch’s record within 365 days of latest use that can be non-consecutive. The reason is that it has to view the stats of the last 90 days to compare with that of the past year. There's no telling how those trends will be applied on the Watch or phone; however, the tech giant ensures that to put those trends in the perspective, they’ll coach in the motivational guidance and nudges’ form. It’s still a secret about the exact form it’ll take such as the weekly summary or the pop-up notification, maybe.
Activity Trends includes several categories namely Stand Hours, Stand Minutes, total Exercise minutes, total Move points, and distance and VO2 Max. The last category is the measurement of the blood oxygen maximum intake through exercise, the main indicator of the aerobic endurance.

Health Highlights will show your ups and downs
Besides, the iOS 13 Health app will come with a new set of data, dubbed Highlights. The redesign of this app may help indicate information about users' health. Besides, hopefully, it’ll be no more current data store but a good hub for guidance. Apple wants to make this app use machine learning, emphasizing sectors that can have had a lot more entries to recent data. It can help users land up higher ranking. It shows the changes in the current condition, but it’s hard to see how Apple can show this information.
Besides, it’s hard to say how this app can help users if they refuse to take the measurement awhile or regularly. This can be a problem if you lose the result of your blood pressure, for example. Hence, we should check it out to see the real pros it can bring to us.

When will all the feature interconnect to make a smart coach and wellness advisor?
The focus of Apple on fitness and health data trends may result in more health guidance and coaching for users. However, it’s just like the first steps in iOS 13. It’s also a problem when the Apple Watch can’t access the new selected information. Because that is the moment you can glance at the data for more encouragement.
However, the interesting point is maybe Apple will focus more on guidance and coaching in the near future. That means it will deal with the lack of trackers and fitness watches. However, the lack of connection between stuff like health metrics (ECG, blood pressure) and sleep, weight, and activity means that it’s not adapt the guidance that users are waiting for yet. Or maybe it can be.
Finally, iOS 13 will have a dark mode, new Siri voice, and privacy features. They’ll soon be delivered to the iPhone of users.
