Amazon Surpassed Google To Become The World's Most Valuable Brand

Amazon has just reported to surpass the two giants Apple and Google to become the world's most valuable company.

A recent survey on Tuesday showed that Amazon became the most valuable brand in the world after surpassing two giant tech companies Google and Apple.

Kantar Global Research Agency, owned by the British WPP advertising group, announced on Top BrandZ that the brand value of Amazon retail company increased by 52% to $315 billion in 2019.

Previously, Seattle-based retailer came in third, Apple was in second place, and Google ranked first with the world's most valuable brand. Recently, while Google slipped to third place and Amazon took the first place, Apple kept its second position.

Amazon retailer founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994, has grown very strong thanks to acquisitions, breakthrough business models and superior customer service, according to Kantar.

The three US companies continued to dominate the top spots of the world's most valuable companies, Apple with $309.5 billion, Google with $309 billion, and Microsoft with $251 billion.

Tencent has dropped to eighth position with a value of $130.9 billion. Meanwhile, Alibaba first defeated Tencent and became the most valuable Chinese brand. Alibaba, the e-commerce leader, has grown two places from last year and ranked seventh with a value of $131.2 billion.

There are 23 brands from Asia that are among the top 100 most valuable brands in the world, including 15 brands from China.
