In comparison to the modern versions coming out of the giant tech company, Apple-1 was a true crude material. It only has an 8-bit microprocessor, running at 1 MHz.
In the very first prototype version, Apple-1 had a memory of 4KB, later expand to 8KB or even 48KB, using expansion cards. The company after that created the first set-top box ever in the market, with keyboard and monitor in a regular TV set.

Steve Wozniak did not have many reason beside proud to work on the Apple-1. He mentioned later that the computer was a prove to show to his friends at the Homebrew Computer Club, that there could be an affordable computer.
Since this is one of the first ever made PCs that did not need to be assembled after purchases, Apple-1 marked a milestone for the company. It was Steve Jobs himself and his co-founder Steve Wozniak who conceived the product before selling in Palo Alto, after that, at The Byte Shop through 1976 and 77.
Though there were 200 models made, they sold 150. The $375,000 Apple-1 that we are mentioning belongs to about 65 pieces in the world. It should be noted that this Apple-1 is the first leader of personal computer, which opened the road for the reputable Apple Mac
