According to recent research, the replacement of the battle royale game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG for short), Game For Peace, has become one of the mobile games with the highest total revenue on the app store of Apple within 03 days after its release. This result actually makes both Tencent itself and all of the global players surprised.

On May 10, Sensor Tower, an app analytics company in the US, revealed that the Chinese users of the App Store had just poured over $14 million to buy the PUBG alternative.
A few days ago, Tencent Holdings Limited dropped the test version of PUBG in the Chinese market and moved all of the players to another friendlier gaming platform with the anti-terrorist theme. More importantly, the new game will help the famous video gaming company to gain the government’s approval to earn revenues, which PUBG couldn’t do.
Tencent had spent over one year hoping the Chinese government allows it to make money from the PUBG mobile game. Originating from South Korea, this game, in reality, has changed a lot to meet all of the local government rules.
On May 13, when being asked for any comment, the company didn't give any response.

In addition, Sensor Tower further revealed that within the first 03 days, "Game for Peace" earned the total amount six times as high as the total users spent on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in many other countries.
For the appearance of Tencent's new title "Game for Peace", it is due to the fact that the Chinese government has deployed a campaign to manage the content on online games more efficiently. According to recent reports, this move mainly aims at the content concerning sex, violence, and gambling which are widely spread on the Internet.

That's why Tencent has had to change a lot of factors relating to its product, from changing the game's name to removing all bloodshed of PUBG. However, many players feel that some original violent scenes in the game are turning into something rather odd and comical.
