Have you ever waken up in the morning and felt too lazy to adjust your curtains? Don’t worry as this gadget called SwitchBot Curtain can help you with that. This is a smart accessory for your curtains, allowing you to adjust the curtains using your smartphone.

This smart curtain works with any rail type curtain and any rod. The most important thing is, it only takes you 30 seconds to install without needing to use any kind of screws, which is cool.

It recognizes voice commands from smart assistants such as Siri, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa. Then all you have to do is speak for your curtains to be adjusted and you can just go back to sleep. However, in order to do that, you will need a Hub.

The SwitchBot Curtain comes with a sunlight sensor for sunlight detecting. Users can configure it to close the curtains automatically. This could become extremely helpful in the summer when there is excess heat. The same thing can be done in winter to keep your room warm.

An add-on of a solar panel power strip is offered which will charge the device’s battery automatically. Users can make a purchase right when they buy the device and don’t have to worry about the charging process. Even without this add-on, a single charge can give users up to 8 months of usage. Wireless charging is available.

If you leave the house without closing the curtains, you can use the app to just close them remotely. To prevent thieves, it’s possible to configure the curtains to open and close to simulate the feeling that there are people inside the home.

There is a physical wireless remote button if you don’t want to rely on your smartphone. For pricing, SwitchBot has a price tag of $69 and is available for worldwide shipping.
