Xiaomi Claims They Have Sold Over One Million Wearables In India

Xiaomi is a giant electronics and smartphone maker from China who has just made a new announcement via the company's official Twitter account. Follow the statement, Xiaomi has achieved an impressive number of one million regarding the total Xiaomi Mi Band 3 sold in the Indian market.

This device is the third generation of fitness and wearable tracker from Xiaomi, which has many important tracking features together with long battery life with a price of just Rs 1,999. Xiaomi has launched Mi Band 3 back in September of 2018, just a couple of months after its launch in China.

Since that launch, according to the report of IDC Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker - Q3 2018, Mi Band 3 has rapidly reached the first spot in the section of the wearable band. Xiaomi has said that that the number of one million sales comes from their internal estimation in the period between September last year to March of this year. Along with the statement, Xiaomi has also sent a thank you note to all of its fans for supporting the company and helped it achieve this significant milestone.

Speaking about the specifications of the smart band, this generation of the smart wearable has an OLED screen of 0.78-inch which can show much more information than the previous generation. With regard to the features, the device is capable of tracking the number of burnt calories, steps and the covered distance without users' intervention. Moreover, this band also has a sensor for heart rate which will record all the data about your heart.
