Two New Apple iPad Models Receive EEC Certification

Apple has just filed two new iPad models to the EEC and that brings the total number of iPad releases expected in fall to be seven.

At the beginning of this month, five new iPad models which run iPadOS 13 received EEC certification. And now two more models have appeared on the site with model numbers of A2232 and A2200. As per the filings, two new models also run iPadOS 13 like the previous models.

Apart from the model number, the filings do not reveal any more information about these upcoming iPads. Meanwhile, Apple has introduced the 2019 iPad Mini and the third-gen 2019 iPad Air. In addition, recent leaks reveal that Apple will carry out mass production of an additional model in July. The alleged model is tipped to take the place of the second-gen iPad launched last year and might sport a 10.2-inch screen.

Additionally, the brand probably introduces two new iPad Pro models, which are likely to be powered by Apple A13X Bionic SoC and have several upgrades. Besides, these new models could be unveiled at an event in the upcoming October. It is known that the company released the new iPad Pro devices in a Brooklyn-based event taking place on 30 October.

Alongside new iPad models, the company is said to be on track of launching its 16-inch MacBook Pro. According to several reports, the new device will be introduced in Q4 2019. In addition to bigger screen size, the device will feature a completely new keyboard with a scissor mechanism, which can support longer key travel and enhanced durability. As per Ming-Chi Kuo, who a famous Apple analyst, the next Mac models will feature a keyboard with scissor mechanism, replacing the existing butterfly mechanism.

While the tablet market in the world has been decreased, the 2018 iPad Pro and this year's iPads helped Apple increase iPad revenue by 22 percent during Q2. That was also the highest growth rate of the product within 6 years as the company shipped US$4.87 billion worth of its tablets in the 3-month period. The brand is expected to announce the Q3 report on 30 July.
