The “2018 Pod case”

Yeonsoo Kang - a Korean designer who designed a silicone case for the Apple Watch Series 4. This case is not capable of function but is eye-catching and reminiscent of the classic iPod. The case is wrapped around the touch screen of the Apple Watch, turning the watch from wearable into pocketable.

Its shape reminds us of the old iPod with Apple's wheel design. Unfortunately, we can not control the buttons on the case because they are only aesthetically pleasing. Instead, we can adjust everything through the touchscreen of Apple Watch or AirPod - wireless headphones.

The bezel was meticulously designed, leaving holes for the crown buttons on the side and the back of the Apple Watch. So you can still wirelessly charge this smartwatch even if it's in this iPod case.

Previously, as Apple had not yet entered the smartphone market, many people had worn the 6th generation iPod Nano on their wrist as a smartwatch. This design is a reverse, turning a wristwatch into a portable classic music player. Maybe the scroll wheel of the shell does not work enough to satisfy us, but the compact and lovely design has compensated that part.
