Have you ever thought about combining your gaming console and your PC? At CES this year, Origin PC, a custom system builder, introduced the Big O, a gaming rig that you can choose to come with the PlayStation 4 Pro or the Xbox One S built into its case.
Originally, Origin PC intended this gaming PC to come with all three consoles, but it decided to go with Big O, a multi-system computer that’s far more sellable. Instead of having three consoles, buyers can choose between the Xbox One S and the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The console is packed in a custom Corsair Crystal Series 280X chassis that features dual chambers. Origin PC didn’t just the console into the second chamber of the PC case, the company integrated the hardware into the machine. The gaming PC and the game console share the same water cooling system. A glance at the system’s backside will show you that Origin PC took the console apart and put it back together to fit its design.
If you’re worried about the PC specifications, they are not too shabby. Users can configure the Big O to feature an i9-9900K or a Ryzen 9 3900X CPU from Intel and AMD respectively, along with a Geforce RTX 2080 Ti video card from Nvidia, and as much as 32GB RAM. Users can further upgrade the PC to house SSD storage and an internal video card so they can capture footage from the console for the streaming and sharing purpose.
One downside, however, is timing considering new PlayStation and Xbox consoles will come out this year. This system’s price starts at Rs 179,630.
CES 2020 takes place in Las Vegas, the US, and last from January 7 to January 10, 2020. At the event this year, we are seeing a lot of new laptops unveiled, offering better, newer technologies for better performance and user experience.
