The Sony WI-1000XM2 wireless neckband earphones boast Active Noise Cancellation technology to better users’ experience.

India has seen a slew of new tech goods from multinational companies hit the market every now and then. The latest arrival is Sony-branded neckband wireless earphones, nicknamed WI-1000XM2, which sports active noise cancellation feature to better users’ experience.

Like the sibling Sony WH-1000XM3, WI-1000XM2 wireless earphones also run on HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN1 to address the noise surrounding audiences. In addition, the WH-1000XM3 is said to be the best headphones when it comes to the ANC-powered headset segment, so WI-1000XM2 inherits not only the processor but also expectations. According to the company, users can take advantage of these earphones’ Atmospheric Pressure Optimizing technology to enjoy the best quality of content during their flight. Sony also designs a two-pin airplane adapter and a 3.5mm cable for the WI-1000XM2 as well.

The wireless earphone comes with a foldable design. It’s claimed that WI-1000XM2 brings a bunch of comforts to audiences when wearing it for a long duration, thanks to the neckband made of soft silicone. As usual, the left cable includes buttons to control the volume, music playback, and calls. Furthermore, users can make use of them to summon their digital assistants, such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Purchasers will get a carrying pouch to store the headset more conveniently.

Sony WI-1000XM2 can automatically enable or disable the noise cancellation thanks to a feature called Adaptive Sound Control. The manufacturer has integrated it with the paired smartphone through an accelerometer sensor. In terms of battery power, the wireless earphones can reportedly live up to 10 hours of using time after a full charge. It supports quick charging via a USB Type C port.

Users won’t have many color options, but black. Being expected to compete with rivals like Samsung wireless earphone or Mi wireless earphone, the headset has a price tag of Rs 21,990 and now available on both offline and online channels.
