At the 2018 Surface hardware event, Microsoft introduced its Surface Headphones. And now, they have become one of the best headphones with noise cancellation on the market. At the 2019 Surface event, Microsoft has announced the expansion of its audio accessories line-up with the new truly wireless earbuds Surface Earbuds.
One of the Surface Earbuds’ key highlights will be its design. They look nothing like a clone of the famous Airpods, which is both a good and bad thing. The bad thing is that the design looks a bit weird and bulky to wear. Some well-known tech YouTubers have described the new earbuds from Microsoft as your ears’ “pop sockets.”
The earbuds might have a huge and bulky appearance but each earbud has a flat surface to support the swipe and tap gestures for music playback, volume as well as Office apps’ features control. Microsoft also says that, with this design, users could get excellent in-ear stability.
The Surface Buds have been designed to bring to users the best voice and music performance with two microphones equipped in each earbud.
Noise reduction feature is also added in. What’s better is that the earbuds even support real-time dictation for Office apps. Microsoft claimed that Surface Earbuds are also an Office apps accessory.
The Surface Earbuds will come with a charging case, offering a 24-hour battery life. With Swift Pair, it will be of no problem when pairing them with Windows 10 laptops. The truly wireless earbuds do come with a pack full of great features.
The starting price of the Microsoft Surface Earbuds is $249, which is a lot higher than the Airpods of Apple. These earbuds will officially be on the market later in October.
