A smartwatch for this festive season is no bad idea and if you are on a budget, this Mi Watch Revolve review is for you.

This smartwatch is the perfect entry-level option for those new to the world of wearables. Mi Watch Revolve price is Rs 9,999 during Diwali and after the festive season, Xiaomi will ask for Rs, 1,000 more.

Design & Comfort

While belonging to the budget segment, Mi Watch Revolve has the look of a high-end wristwatch. It’s true that it may not have the smartest features on the market but at least it will definitely draw attention.

If you care a lot about the appearance of your wearable, keeping reading our Mi Watch Revolve review to see what this smartwatch possesses that is worth your attention.

The watch’s body is made out of glass and metal. The display is 1.39 inches and the dial markings are wisely placed to cover the bezels.

Overall, the Mi Watch Revolve’s build is solid. The Gorilla Glass 3 works effectively in protecting it against dents and scratches.

There aren’t many protrusions on the back of the watch, making wearing it a total comfort.

The silicon strap accompanying the watch is comfortable on your wrist but falls flat when it comes to aesthetics. If the default strap bothers you, a leather strap is an ideal choice as a substitute.

Mi Watch Revolve Features

Overall, Mi Watch Revolve specs are decent for the price range.

The Smart Features

Our Mi Watch Revolve review continues with what making up the smart part of the watch.

Mi Watch Revolver runs on a proprietary operating system that feels a lot like the one on Amazfit watches.

Xiaomi Mi Watch Revolve OS

While the OS is far from being the most fluid and fastest on the market, it’s acceptable for this price range. The animations look pleasing and the interface is user-friendly.

You will have easy access to apps via the two crowns, the top conjures the app drawer while the second is for shortcuts. Xiaomi offers a level of personalization by allowing you to assign the second button to open whatever you want.

In this Mi Watch Revolve review, we want to highlight how accomplished the screen is on this smartwatch. The AMOLED display measures 1.39 inches and is among the best in this price range.

The responsiveness of the touchscreen is excellent and the auto-brightness adjustment will make life a lot easier when you go out. The always-on display is present and it has a minimal impact on battery life.

A few other cool features we would like to talk about in this Mi Watch Revolve review are wear detection, which enters ‘do not disturb’ mode when you put it down, and torch feature, which turns on the display to maximum brightness.

However, the Mi Watch Revolve isn’t without tradeoffs that may cause lots of frustration.

The watch can show notifications for calls and apps. But for the former, you can either silence or reject them, not opening them.

Another omission Xiaomi has made that may cause trouble for Indian users is the fact that the watch can’t show content in any Indian languages.

The company promises new additional features and we hope that at least Indian languages will come in the future.

The Fitness Features

The next part of our Mi Watch Revolve review is about the fitness features.

Xiaomi said the Mi Watch Revolve is for fitness and you will have 10 sports modes out of the box.

Data the watch gathered after workout sessions are stored natively and users can view them with the Xiaomi Wear app on Android and Wear Lite on iOS.

Activity tracking is one thing, the watch also keeps track of your wellness, like your stress level and sleep.

During our time with the watch to write this Mi Watch Revolve review, the sleep tracking feature works as advertised and we have seen no cases of inaccurate tracking.

The energy measurement seems to be accurate too. At the end of the day when most people are exhausted, the watch shows a low level. We have no way to know if it’s 100% true but we are confident to say that it’s quite reliable.

Heart tracking and step tracking are on board and you can see your heart rate presented in form of a graph on the watch itself.

Battery

Xiaomi promises 14 days of battery life with one single charge and tests for this Mi Watch Revolve review prove the company didn’t exaggerate.

Turning on GPS and you will see a fast drain but overall, there is no need to reach for the charger every three days. Charging the watch is slow – around 3 hours to full.
