It would have been impossible to create a cocktail without baseball-sized ices that would cool down your drink but not dilute it. However, this has been made possible thanks to LG's new technology. Recently, the company introduced a smart refrigerator with WiFi-enabled features, which can turn your ordinary kitchen into a liquor store. In which, through Smart WiFi and the door-in-door InstaView characteristics, LG refrigerators now have a manual ice-making function. Instead of waiting for hours to mold ice, you can now sip your drink with ice balls immediately.

The refrigerator was created with a double-functioning ice maker that is capable of creating common ices and also slow-melting ones.

This magical fridge also offers owners two choices of ices. It can be crushed ice or ice cubes depending on the owners’ preferences. If you like slow-melting ice, the device will create it in the shape of a sphere. Because the ice melts when exposed to air or liquid, the manufacturer notes that you should let the machine create a giant block of ice to reduce the ice-melting capability thanks to the large surface area. The illustration below will help you understand more about the refrigerator's ice-making mechanism. In addition, the ice cubes will also be suitable with drinks such as cocktails, lemonade, fruit juice and more. And if you find that spending more than $4,000 on a refrigerator is a luxury, you can also consider choosing another type of ice mold that suits your needs.
