The Next Tablet Of Huawei Will Look Just Like An iPad Pro

Huawei is developing a new tablet with the look resembling that of Apple’s iPad Pro, as shared by 91Mobiles. However, Huawei’s device will differentiate itself by featuring a dual-camera setup on the rear and a hole-punch notch on the front where a selfie camera pokes.

The new tablet of Huawei is the second device leaked recently that bears a striking resemblance to a product of Apple, the first one is a Xiaomi’s new smartwatch, which looks just like an Apple Watch.

According to Even Blass, a leaker, Huawei might even add the “Pro” to the tablet’s name, which is believed to be Huawei MatePad Pro.

The tablet will reportedly have a magnetic keyboard case, just like the Smart Keyboard Folio of Apple. However, for now, we do not know if the case will be in the box, or users will have to purchase it separately. The tablet might have its own stylus, again, like the Apple Pencil going with the iPad Pro, which attaches to the top.

From the leaked renders, we can see some other features, like bottom-firing speakers and a USB-C port. However, we do not know if the headphone jack and the stylus silo will appear on the device.

We have no information on the OS of the tablet either, but if it is anything like the Mate 30 Pro, what it runs on will be Android 10 / EMUI 10 with no access to the services of Google.

According to 91Mobiles, since there is no fingerprint sensor on the table, as shown by the renders, Huawei may adopt some kind of face unlock technology or in-display fingerprint sensor to secure the device.

About the inner hardware, 91Mobiles said that interested users can expect top-of-the-line specs with the Huawei MatePad Pro, such as the company’s fastest, 5G-enabled processor, Kirin 990 SoC. Other features are RAM of 8GB, onboard storage of 256GB, as well as a large battery.

Huawei’s latest tablet, MediaPad M6, was released in June.
