Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has just released its Band 4 smart watch in the Indian market. The wearable device was released alongside the latest affordable smartphone, Honor 8C. in November. Both the Honor 8C and Honor Band 4 are exclusive to the giant e-commerce platform Amazon.in and it is going to go toe-to-toe with the successful Xiaomi Mi Band wearable series in the market.
Honor Band 4: Price and Availability
The Honor wearable’s price is Rs. 2,599 and Honor will offer it exclusively on Amazon.in from 18 December 2018. You can start purchasing this device from 12:00 PM IST, and it will come in three colour options, including Dahlia Pink, Midnight Navy and Meteorite Black.
Honor Band 4: Specifications and Features
The Mi Band 3 of Xiaomi and the Honor Band 4 are different from each other mostly in the display aspect. While the Xiaomi wearable has a white and black display, the Honor device comes with a 0.95-inch 2.5D curved colour AMOLED screen with 120 x 240 pixels resolution. You can one-click return to the home screen using its home button. Its display incorporate a scroll gesture-based UI that let users move between different options and.

Similar to many fitness trackers available, the Honor Band 4 also supports several functions like monitoring sleep and heart rate. Furthermore, the real-time heart rate monitoring is powered by the TruScreen 3.0 heart-rate tech from the Chinese giant Huawei. The Honor wearable also can capture night infrared heart-rate monitoring and also share heart-rate warnings.
Huawei TruSleep monitoring tech is also in this support list of the device. With the tech, it can track your sleeping activities and also record automatically your periods of Rapid Eye Movement (REM) for personalised sleep advisor. It also has features like swim stroke recognition and activity tracking. Honor Band 4 is also a good device for swimmers and it’s water-resistant up to 50 meters. It can automatically recognise swim strokes, records swimming calories, distance, and speed.
The Huawei Health App on both iOS and Android platforms can also run on this Honor wearable and you can use the app to change your goals and monitor your health parameters.
