Apple has just filed seven Mac models with the Eurasian Economic Commission; all of them have not been released. These models are believed to be portable designs so it is possible that each of them is a new MacBook (probably MacBook Air) Apple intends to launch in the next few months.
For now, that is all we know. There is no more information except for the guess that they will run on macOS Mojave instead of the newly-announced macOS Catalina. One of these seven models could be the new 12-inch MacBook and another is the 16-inch MacBook Pro. We have more confidence in a new MacBook Air because this lineup has been late for an update with the last one was in June 2017.
If this turns out to be true, fans of larger notebooks will be thrilled. A MacBook Pro measures 16 inches means that you will have a larger display, thanks to smaller bezels and a thinner design. For Apple fans, many of them have always wanted a larger one ever since the company killed off the largest model in 2012.
Seven models mean that we might see the return of the 11-inch and 13-inch configuration for MacBook Air.
The chances of having a MacBook Pro update are thin as the company just announced a fresher take on the line a few weeks ago. However, we still have the possible 16-inch design to hope for.
However, please bear in mind that Apple registered seven models does not mean that all of them will make it to reality. However, even if just one of them survives, we may expect to see its launch in fall, in September or October, if what we project of Apple’s habit is true.
