AirPods Will Soon Be Able To Accompany You To The Pool

The AirPods are one of the most-loved Apple’s devices. And now it is believed that they will soon be water-resistant

The AirPods are one of the most-loved Apple’s devices. They look nice, compact, portable, and can sync seamlessly with other Apple’s products without a single hassle.

AirPods possess lots of desirable features, but there is one significant downer; it does not have water resistant rating so if you want to wear it when running or jogging under the rain, that might not be a good idea.

However, that will soon change.

According to Philip Elmer-Dewitt, an American editor and writer, the next generation AirPods would be ready this holiday season with some enhancements in the design.

Mark Gurman, an employee of Bloomberg, was the first to reveal Apple’s future plans. Earlier this year, he said that the company would launch its earbuds with support for Siri, which turned out to be AirPods 2.

Last year, he projected that Apple was looking to add water-resistance and noise-canceling feature to the earbuds. Gurman also said that the company might launch over-ear headphones this year, also with noise canceling ability. This device was scheduled to launch in 2018, but Apple had to postpone the plan as a result of difficulties in production. According to Bloomberg, they would be a higher-end alternative to Beats.

This projection coincides with what Ming-Chi Kuo said in his report. Kuo has a pretty impressive portfolio of correct guesses about Apple’s upcoming devices and improvements. He said that the company would release two new models sometime between the fourth quarter of this year and the first quarter of 2020.

Both of them will have a new design and a higher price than the second generation AirPods.
