Echo, the smart speakers series from Microsoft, includes great products. However, their creator could probably never predict any accidents to happen with it. The voice assistant used for these speakers, Alexa, has a lot of capabilities, such as playing music, answering questions about weather, news, and knowledge, letting you control your home devices through IoT. On the other hand, the digital assistant has also scared its owners to death with sudden creepy laughs or statements like “I see people dying.”

Amazon Echo
Back in March, Amazon’s digital assistant freaked its owner out with a sudden laugh while they were in the kitchen. The company then worked to fix this problem. It believed that the assistant may have mistaken common words with commands and it just did what it was asked to. Amazon disabled the phrase "Alexa, laugh," and replaced with a harder to mistake one “Alexa, can you laugh?”.
In the most recent incident with this digital assistant, a parrot caused mischief, the smart ass used Alexa to make orders on Amazon. Our mischievous little guy is called Roco, he is an African Grey parrot. Roco currently lives in Blewbury, Oxfordshire, with Marion Wischnewski, a sanctuary worker at National Animal Welfare Trust. The sanctuary moved him to a new place because he used bad language.

An African Grey parrot
While Wischnewski was fostering Rocco, he learned how to use Alexa and used her to buy light bulbs, ice cream, fruits, etc.
African Grey parrots are famous for their ability to mimic speech. As soon as Wischnewski was aware of what Rocco might be doing, she immediately checked whether Rocco had ordered anything.
Wischnewski told that at arriving home from work, she did a quick check and canceled whatever Rocco ordered. According to the sanctuary worker, there were times when she got home seeing Rocco dancing to romantic music that he used Alexa to play. She also stressed that Rocco loves dancing and he is the sweetest parrot.
