COVID-19 has officially been declared by the WHO as a pandemic. Here are some of the world's most crowded cities before and after the outbreak.

COVID-19 has officially been declared by the World Health Organization as a pandemic. And it is spreading around the world at an alarming rate. India has imposed stricter travel policies on foreigners after the world recorded over 197,000 cases with more than 7,900 deaths.

Preventing the spread of the virus, many state governments have shut down colleges, schools, colleges until March 31st. Restaurants are facing a huge loss in profit as people avoid public places in fear of COVID-19. Travelers arriving at the Indian borders will have their body temperatures checked by the medical staff. Public transportation including buses, metro, and trains will be disinfected regularly. Various companies have allowed their employees to work from home.

The virus is believed to have come from Wuhan’s Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market, which is a trading place for wildlife. On 23 January, to prevent the virus from spreading, the Chinese authorities put the city under lockdown. Some airlines have also suspended their flights to mainland China.
