After Microsoft, Bill Gates still continues to work tirelessly in other fields like recommending books and working towards the goal of improving people's healthcare all over the world. He also lent a hand making ice cream at DQ with another billionaire Warren Buffet (Berkshire Hathaway's CEO).
The DQ Adventure
Gates shared this fast food adventure on Twitter; he said that he was much quicker than Buffett in studying how to make milkshakes.
He also expressed his admiration for the fantastic engineering of the upside-down ice cream. He was amazed that this fast food's piece could perform the art of creating a so thick a blend that it defied gravity.
In fact, through his company - Berkshire Hathaway, Buffett actually owns DQ. Gates posted a clip that shows the exploits at DQ, together with the name tags and aprons.
Just like Gates said, indeed he is quick at study. He won over Buffett at the soft serve. He was also very good at customer service as a cash register. Gates even able to successfully made upside-down ice cream while Buffett failed.
The Hidden Meaning
There is that surreal feeling when watching the two wealthiest people on Earth study to make upside-down ice cream, but there is something hidden here. Behind this fun working day are the insights into the world of Buffett. It was all about avid reading, patience, and occasionally ice cream and Oreos for breakfast.
The young supervisor at DQ has commented on the performance of Buffet and Gates that he would hire them.
