As one of the BMP-2 variants, AAD or Armoured Amphibious Dozer comes with mine ploughs, a folding dozer blade, and a main winch with an 8,000-kg capacity, along with an earth anchor adapted for rocket propulsion.

FV180 C.E.T was initially used as an amphibious armoured vehicle by the British Army and then, both the Indian Army and the Singapore Army have operated this kind of vehicle. It is designed to tow anti-mine systems like “Giant Viper” or construct bridges in battles. Since 2013, it has been replaced by the Terrier Armoured Digger, a larger vehicle that weighs 30 tonnes.
