This Smart Bulb Lights Up Whenever A Couple Breaks Up

When connected to the Internet, the light bulb will scan posts on Twitter and will light up when detecting any couple breaking up.
While everyone is enjoying Christmas, team single is forced to watch couples trolling around town and doing some holiday shopping while holding hands.
To get rid of that horrible feeling, Marina Fujiwara, a Japanese Youtuber decided to invent a "single" lightbulb. This light bulb will light up whenever a breakup status appears on Twitter. Of course, she couldn’t help those couples. But at least she would feel better even though that might sound quite mean.
In terms of design, there is nothing about this light bulb. However, when connected to the Internet via a special connector, it will scan posts on Twitter based on “parted/parting” hashtag and will light up if it detects any couple breaking up.
Specifically, Marina used to observe shared account between couples in highschools, who often updated their relationship status. And she noticed that if a couple broke up, their shared account would change the icon and the description part would change to “parted.” This bulb also works with the “break up” hashtag or any similar words.
On her personal blog, Marina shared that she really hated Christmas. Seeing couples holding hands on the streets made her feel lonely and miserable.
Also according to Marina, this light bulb would be a temporary solution for the Christmas season for those single people. It is basically like an IoT device. You can use your smartphone to adjust the light bulb’s brightness as well as colors.
The setting up process is really simple too. First, you will need to use a bridge, which is a device used to connect two different networks and combine them into one network, to create a hub. This hub then helps the light bulb connect to the Internet. After that, connect it with a WiFi router using a LAN cable. And that is it.
Of course, this device is just for fun and to kill time for single people during the Christmas season.
