During this time, New Yorkers have to self-isolate and avoid going outside to prevent the spreading of the disease. And it is during this time that people are turning to technology for entertainment.

However, besides entertainment, technology has proved to be useful for flirting. And this balcony love story amid the pandemic has attracted the attention of internet users.

During his self-isolation time, photographer Jeremy Cohen noticed a girl in the opposite building who was playing with TikTok. Feeling interested, Cohen boldly used his drone to send a message to the girl.

Tori Cignarella, the mysterious girl on the rooftop of the opposite building is the one who caught the attention of the photographer. In an interview, Cignarella said that she was making a video on Tik Tok that day.

Both Cohen and Cignarella are working from home due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

When Cignarella was dancing, Cohen waved at her and the girl responded by waving back. It was Cignarella’s reaction that encouraged him to send her a message.

The two soon started texting each other and had a meal together right from their houses’ balconies.

The story surely brings something bright to the internet after it has been filled with sad news about the COVID-19 pandemic. Self-isolation will make some people feel lonely but Cohen and Cignarella have proven that people can still connect with each other in other ways.

The good news is the couple no longer has to date from the balcony anymore. The photographer has come up with an idea to stand inside a giant ball so he could go out and have a walk with her. And of course, being a gentleman, Chen didn’t forget to bring a bouquet of flowers for his date.
