This Headphone Wig Has 250 Dangling Earbuds

Earbuds manufacturing just gets to a whole new level as Japanese designers PARTY made a hairpiece of hundreds of earbuds.

From Walkman, iPod to the latest smartphones, handheld technology has been constantly developed to make listening to music a solitary experience. Whether someone is wearing their earbuds walking on the street or sitting with a laptop and studio-quality headphones, they have completely zoned out of the social world.

But designers PARTY which consists of talented coders and technologists building electronics, have found the answer to this social issue. They created Song Wig, a hairpiece that has dozens of dangling earbuds. With this product, users can share their listening experience with other people.

Song Wig is compatible with almost all electronic gadget, from smartphones, tablets to computers. It can be connected via Bluetooth. With Bluetooth signal, the music is sent to an audio receiver on Song Wig and transmitted to two small amplifiers and 250 earbuds. A lithium polymer battery powers the wig which also has an LED ring and a microcontroller.

The wig will come in three different colors and textures – Classical Maestro, Reggae Guru, and Pop Star.

Classical Maestro hairpiece with “pure white curls” is for those classical music lovers.
