Called by his fan "Useless Edison," this time Shuai comes up with a hair washing machine which he claims leaving his hair clean and soft.
Although Geng Shuai is called by his fan “The Useless Edison,” he doesn’t mind it. The 30-year-old Chinese guy used to work as a welder, left his job in 2017 to focus on creating questionable inventions. His inventions range from a meat cleaver which is also a smartphone case, a rubbing backsword to a scooter with a built-in toilet. This time, Shuai came up with a hair washing machine. He posted a video on Weibo, China’s twitter to demonstrate how the machine works.
He explained that washing your hair in the normal way is more time-consuming and tiring. And if you accidentally scratch your head too hard, it can possibly damage your hair and scalp.
Therefore, this strange inventor decided to make a hair washing machine. The machine has a spin motor similar to those in normal washing machines as well as a bed for the user to lie on.
Although this machine looks a bit complicated, according to Shuai, “automation is the key.”
To wash his hair, Shuai lies down on the bed, uses a clothes peg to clip his nose, and a plastic breathing tube for breathing.
After that, the machine began to incline with Shuai hanging upside down. His head is put inside a plastic cylindrical tank. His breathing tube was placed outside of the tank.
Once the washer is turned on, the orange rubber hose then fills the tank with clean water. The turbine located at the tank’s bottom begins spinning around, just like how a washing machine operates. After one to two minutes, the water is drained out.
The interesting thing is, the machine even comes with a blow drying option. And that’s it! Shuai claimed that thanks to the machine’s gentle wash, his hair is now “clean and soft.”
