Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities, the man famous for giving projections for the upcoming features of Apple’s products, and many of his forecasts have turned out to be true. Recently he has made another prediction. Kuo said that Apple would add more powerful batteries to its iPhones to make it a wireless charger for other devices.
According to him, the next in line for Apple’s products after the iPhone XS would have a display of 5.8, 6.5, and 6.1 inches. To meet the aim of making it a charger, the batteries’ capacity will be increased by 20% to 25%, 10% to 15%, up to 5% respectively. The new feature will allow users to charge devices like the AirPods and Apple Watch by simply put them on the back of the iPhones.

This is not a new idea though. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a similar function, and Samsung Galaxy S10 has the Wireless Power Share that enables users to charge the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds by doing the same thing you do with the iPhone.
Kuo’s predictions are considered credible because he has had several accurate forecasts about Apple’s products. In 2017, he said that the company was about to launch an iPhone with OLED display and a screen measuring 5.8 inches. Later, his prediction came true with the debut of iPhone X. Other correct forecasts are about the iPad mini and iPhone SE.
Kuo was right about the iPhone X
Ming-Chi Kuo also has some failed predictions though. One of them is with the AirPower, which was canceled by Apple not long ago. He thought that it would be out between the end of 2018 or the beginning of 2019. A few years ago, he projected a stall in the debut of the iPhone 6 Plus, but it ended up being released as planned.
In this new model of iPhone, Apple is believed to add a triple camera arrangement and to enhance the Face ID.
