Back in March, while many countries around the world were under lockdown, the p.o.r.n.ography website saw an explosion in traffic. This was because people stayed at home and had a lot of free time.
By mid-March, traffic from P.o.r.n.h.u.b’s largest market, the U.S, increased 6.4%. The figure has kept on climbing since then. To attract more viewers, the site even launched its premium service for free.
According to P.o.r.n.h.u.b, before March, around 120 million people visited the site daily. And after lockdown orders, the number hit 134 million.
And now, P.o.r.n.h.u.b has decided to join the hand sanitizer bandwagon to earn more bucks during this difficult time. The product is named “P.o.r.n.h.u.b Hand Sanitizer.”
It is just like any other hand sanitizer that you find on the market. But what sets this hand sanitizer apart is the brand behind it, P.o.r.n.h.u.b. The company decided to go with the design of a black bottle with a pointy cap and orange accents. And just by looking, you immediately know the origin of the product.
P.o.r.n.h.u.b sells its hand sanitizer n a pack of three. Each bottle contains two ounces of product. The retail price is $15. Meanwhile, three four-ounce bottle pack costs $18.
It has a lavender scent and contains 70% ethyl alcohol, meaning it is flammable. The company also states that it can’t guarantee the effectiveness of the product against the novel coronavirus causing COVID-19. It also warns that the product should be kept out of reach of those under 18 years old.
P.o.r.n.h.u.b also markets other merchandise like pullovers, tees, yoga shorts, leggings, socks, beach towels, and “Stay Home” items. Proceeds of the sales from the company’s Stay Home products will be contributed to the WHO’s Solidarity Response Fund.
