The Secret Behind Apple AirPods And AirPods Pro - Why So Awesome?!

With the arrival of AirPods and AirPods Pro, Apple has continued writing its success story with flying colors. These high-end accessories have a solid foothold in the wearable market, not only in India but also across the globe. But, have you wondered how AirPods and AirPods Pro could be that awesome or the inspiration behind it?

Greg Joswiak, Vice President of Marketing at Apple, appeared to give us the answers. In response to an interview with Wired, Joswiak revealed that the idea of making such a wireless earphone was initiated since the dawn of Apple.

Without a doubt, iPhone is an incredible wireless product. Following the “philosophy” that has enabled iPhone’s design, AirPods also devote themselves to the freedom of movement for users.

To some extent, it would hardly be something favorable if we connect wired headphones to an iPhone, so it’s why Apple came up with a plan to detach the wire.

Talking about one of the technologies that power AirPods, Joswiak said a team of engineers from Apple and Stanford had to work on the 3D scans of a library of human ears, including different styles and shapes, for a final “one-size solution”.

They began to do the same work with AirPods Pro but depended on further researches that study more varieties of ears. This results in three different tip size along with a main design for AirPods Pro, before everyone could feel it’s his own bespoke earphones.
