1sec Inc., a Japanese technology company has created Japan’s first virtual male influencer, a young music producer named Liam Nikuro.

1sec Inc, a technology from Japan, has created the very first virtual male influencer called Nikuro. If you have ever considered becoming an Instagram influencer, well, the competition is getting tougher with the joining of human-like perfect-looking virtual models. After the success of Imma and Miquela, two digital social media stars, the Japan-based tech start-up decided to create Japan’s virtual male model. Their creation is a young music producer from “Los Angeles” named Liam Nikuro. The model is reportedly working in fashion, music, and entertainment industry.

Liam is a prime example of the concept called “uncanny valley,” which describes humanoid objects with human-looking appearance. Liam’s look is too perfect to be from an actual human. But at the same time, he is a proof for the rapid development of computer-generated modeling.

For example, when compared with Miquela, Instagram’s hottest virtual influencer at the moment, he looks more realistic. But it will be a long time for him to reach her 1.6 million followers.

His creators are focusing on developing a believable personality that will match his realistic appearance. Apart from working in the music industry and having an interest in the fashion world, Liam also has certain favorite movies, foods as well as future plans.

AI Which Can Cheat And Hide Data From Us Has Been Created

According to the creators, the virtual male influencer has an American father and a Japanese mother. He was born in the U.S, currently lives in California. He weighs 72kg and has a height of 180cm, the ideal height and weight for a male model.

Liam Nikuro was made with an all-CG head using 3D tools and a body captured in live action. So, he is not all fake except for his head, technically.
