Developers have recently created a new robot that can help owners monitor and play with their pets from a remote location. This product aims at those who have pets like dogs or cats, often go away and can’t bring them along.
Leaving a pet alone at home is never a good idea because you will have a lot to care about. However, a special robot may be all the things you need in such this case.
The developers call it Petbot. Basically, with the robot, users can interact with their dogs remotely, especially when they are away. Users will have to install a Petbot app on smartphones running on the iOS or Android OS before actually controlling it.
The Petbot is designed with an HD camera that lets users see their pets, as well as capture photos via the app. The two-way audio feature is also supported.
A laser is one of the interesting tools on this robot, which users can choose to play with their dogs. In addition, they can control the Petbot to move around their house and run after the pets.
The biggest disadvantage of the Petbot may be its price, about Rs 17,800 or $249.99. However, you can choose another version of the Petbot - the Petcube. The stationary version is equipped with all of the features the Petbot has, but users won’t be able to keep track of their pets in many various locations in their house.
