Remove China Apps is the latest viral application among Indian users of Android. What this app offers is a complete removal of Chinese apps from your phone and a user-friendly interface.
All you have to do is to install the app on your phone and let it scan the device. After that, it will provide you with a list of apps made by Chinese companies, like CamScanner, TikTok, and ShareIt.

As we speak, the Remove China Apps ranks top on the list of free apps on Google Play. In less than two weeks since it was first launched on May 17, the app has had two million downloads.
The success of Remove China Apps stems from the great timing of its launch, which piggybacks on the huge wave of anti-China products following the COVID-19 outbreak.
This app appears to be designed to fuel that hatred. If it finds no apps from Chinese companies on your phone, it will compliment you by saying you are awesome.
The app takes up only 3.5 MB of space on your phone and is not very strict in login ID. Anything goes for it to function.
When they open the app, you will be greeted by a button that reads “Click on Scan Now to find installed China apps in your system.” To delete the Chinese apps, users have to click on them and uninstall them.
However, there is a catch. If you use a Chinese phone with inbuilt apps, Remove China Apps cannot do anything about that. It can only identify apps users install themselves.

The app’s sudden popularity speaks volume of the growing resentment Indians have for China and products made by the country’s companies.
No matter what you think of this app, bear in mind that the company behind it is a little shady. The privacy policy of Remove China Apps is a single-page document, which mentions nothing of what liabilities the company will have to take in case of a data breach.
The app is claimed to be made by Jaipur-based OneTouch AppLabs. However, WHOIS search shows the website of the company was set up only a week ago. WHOIS could not find the owner of the website as it uses a service to protect the identity from being found.
No information of this company is found on Ministry of Corporate Affairs either.
