Reliance Jio To Train Newbie Internet Users With Facebook

As days go by, Reliance Jio has started putting more effort into improving the understanding of Internet users in India.

As days go by, Reliance Jio has started putting more effort into improving the understanding of Internet users in India. Recently, the company said it has already joined hand with Facebook in a campaign called "digital literacy initiative" all over the country. According to Reliance Jio, the nationwide campaign is expected to help new internet users get digital literacy and understand more about the Internet.

For those moving just some first steps into the Internet world, the plan is pretty considerate. In a statement, Jio said it will give users a hand to discover features of JioPhone, the right way to use several apps as well as internet safety on every Saturday. As part of the campaign, Jio and Facebook have partnered up to help users learn the right way to use Facebook.

Akash Ambani, director of Reliance Jio, confirmed that the company always want to raise the quality of digital experience of Indian users. By working with key global partners, he believed that some initiatives such as Digital Udaan will help Indians level off the asymmetry of information and accessibility. This program is built for various purposes, with the goal is to bring it to every place in India. From that, the digital drive will leave no one behind.

The number of locations is expected to skyrocket soon.

As for the method, Jio will approach people through audio-visual programs, which support a total of ten regional languages. At the first stage, the company will deploy this initiative in around 200 locations within 13 states, but the number will reportedly exceed more than 7,000 locations soon.
