Sony finally revealed the design of the new PlayStation 5 and it does... stand out. Once you place the device on your desk or next to your TV, it is up to whether it is a good or bad thing. Of course, following the unveiling of the PlayStation 5, Twitter users immediately raised their voices. And the memes about the new Sony gaming device are making rounds on the Internet.

The PS5 stands vertically. There are two versions: a Digital Edition and a 4K Blu-ray drive. Compared to the 4K Blu-ray version, the Digital Edition is much thinner since it doesn't come with the drive.

Without the drive, the Digital Edition is priced at a lower price. However, no information about the prices of these two variants as well as the release date has been revealed yet. Sony only mentioned the design of the device during the live stream.

Similar to the Xbox Series X, the PlayStation 5 can be placed horizontally or vertically. At the top, there are USB-A, USB-C ports and vents to dissipate heat.

Sony also revealed several accessories that can be paired with the PS% like a new HD camera, a media remote, and a Pulse 3D wireless headset. It is unclear whether the PS5 will be released along with the new PS5 consoles.
