No Recycling Pee. Luxurious Space Hotel Will Import Water Instead.
Harin - Mar 11, 2019
The people behind a would-be space hotel called Aurora Station say that water will be imported from Earth instead of recycling urine.
Orion Span, the company behind the luxurious space hotel concept called Aurora Station, seems to go all the way with the idea of luxury, and costly of course. In an interview with BBC, the company says that it will import water from Earth instead of recycling urine like on the International Space Station.

The company has an ambitious vision aiming to sell a 12-journey to space that costs $9.5 million. But the project receives a lot of criticism saying it’s going to have to deal with enormous challenges even before it is carried out.
In its claim, Orion Span says that guests can take part in space gardening as well as using what it called a “holodeck”, something that is seen on the movie “Star Trek”.
Its founder has listed out things that guests can do in the hotel, saying:

The UC Berkeley newsroom reported that there are 26 people who have already made a deposit of $80,000 for reservation.
But space tourism, up until now, has still been a controversy with experts saying it is a blend of savvy marketing and genuine possibility.
A professor from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Robert Goehlich, told BBC that:

Goehlich also forewarned that an actual space mission involves a lot of risks. Any company that offers commercial space tourism will need to follow NASA-like contingencies to ensure its passengers’ safety in space’s deadly vacuum.
Goehlich said to BBC:
