The ban was deployed after an investigation of Nepal’s federal agency and acted by NTA, Nepal Telecommunications Authority. Sandip Adhikari, an NTA spokesperson, cited that PUBG is absolutely addictive to children and teenagers. Along with this, their parents are said to be worried because the game is distracting children from studies and duties.

According to Metropolitan Crime Division, schools and parents had complained about the game. When they consulted with physiatrists and experts, it finally leads to the end of PUBG in Nepal.
