According to the latest study, men's antennae have higher levels of bacteria and are more dangerous to health than dogs.

There are many different opinions about the beauty of beards. Some argue that they will make men look stronger and more attractive, while others prefer a clean-shaven face.

Dog fur is said to be cleaner than beards

According to a new study by Hirslanden Clinic in Switzerland, men's beards often carry more germs than dog fur. Up to 18 men and 30 different kinds of dogs were the subjects of this study. Professor Andreas Gutzeit from the clinic said the researchers found that the number of bacteria in men's beards was significantly a lot more than that of dog hair.

The entire beard of the men involved in the study had high levels of bacteria.

This study was conducted with the aim of confirming whether the dogs spread diseases to humans if they use the MRI scanner together. However, the results showed that all men aged 18 to 76 participating in this study had very high numbers of bacteria in their beards. And there are 7 people with beards that carry many harmful bacteria. Of the 30 dogs that were observed, 23 had a high number of bacteria in their fur. The remaining dogs only had moderate levels of bacteria and did not bring significant harm to human health.

This shows that only 76% of dogs contain bacteria in their fur but all the men’s beards involved in the study have a lot of bacteria.

Only 76% of the dogs in the study had significant numbers of bacteria.

Besides, after the men and dogs posted disinfection, they were put into MRI scanners. The results show that the level of bacteria on the scanner after being used by men is higher than those of dogs. Gutzeit showed that, through this research, we can conclude that dog fur can be considered clean and less germ than male beards. For this reason, the ability to cause and spread disease in dogs is less than men.
