While the coronavirus is spreading like a wildfire in China and other countries, researchers have created a map to track the deadly virus.

While the coronavirus is spreading like a wildfire in China as well as other countries around the world, researchers working at the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University have created a map to track the deadly virus.

From the map, you can know the total number of cases that have been confirmed worldwide and the total of recoveries and deaths. Cases are also broken down based on regions. There is also a graph plotting the reported cases.

The researchers develop the map using the trusted data from reputable sources which include WHO, ECDC China CDC, CDC, DXY, and NHC. Data for China is from DXY whose data is taken from NHC and CCDC. Meanwhile, data for the US is from the U.S. CDC. For other regions, data are from regional health departments.

At the time of this article, on the website, there are 6,097 confirmed cases out of which 5,970 are from Mainland China. Thailand has 14 cases. Hong Kong and Taiwan have 8 each. Japan, Macau, Malaysia, and Singapore have 7 each. Australia and the U.S have 5 each. France, Germany, and South Korea have 4 cases each. Canada has 2. Vietnam has 2. Cambodia has 1. Nepal has 1. And Sri Lanka has 1.
