Thirty-three pairs of AirPods are equal to 66 earbuds, which is over Rs 3.5 lakh worth of Apple’s wireless earbuds wandering across the world.

Over the weekend, Kim Namjoon, a member of the famous K-pop group BTS, revealed during a live-streamed Q&A with fans that somehow, he has got the 34th AirPods after having lost 33 pairs.

While the Apple AirPods is known for being lost easily, losing as many as 33 pairs must be contributed to his own characters. Not just the earbuds, the pop star has lost his passport so many times that his fans even created a Twitter account for it.

Back to our 33 pairs of these wireless earbuds and let’s take a look at the numbers here. Say, the AirPods cost $159 (roughly Rs 11,200) including the charging case. That means the star has lost an equivalent of the Mac Pro. Well, that’s a lot of money folks.

He didn’t reveal specifically if any of the lost AirPods were the latest model AirPods Pro, so the total loss we mentioned at the beginning of this article is just an estimate. But you don’t tell others how to spend their money right?

After hearing this fact from RM, millions of fans of this band stormed Twitter with tweets showing their thoughts. They even called him an AirPods fairy, saying that he should start signing on his earbuds so that if he loses them, fans can get his autographs.

This incident reminds me of the time when wired earphones were all over the market, and we had to plug them into our phones for listening to music to taking calls. And if the phone dropped, if someone tried to take the phone or if the earphones fell out of your bag, you would know right away. It seems that modern life makes things more convenient but also costs you more.
