If Jeff Bezos Pays 1 Lakh Dollar For 1 Rice Grain, How Much Rice Will He Have?

Harin

A Twitter user decided to conduct some kind of experiment to show how wealthy the CEO of Amazon Jeff Bezos actually is using rice.

On social media platforms, we often come across articles describing how wealthy Jeff Bezos is, how he is the richest man on Earth and what he spends money on. And it also makes us wonder how much money does that translate to?

Twitter user Humphrey wanted to find an answer to this question. And he decided to conduct some kind of experiment to show how wealthy the CEO of Amazon actually is.

To be honest, his experiment is quite simple as he went with rice to find the answer. He set one single rice grain at $100,000. So 10,000 grains of rice is $1 million dollars.

10,000 grains of rice is $1 million dollars.

For a billion rice, Humphrey multiplied a rice grain’s weight by ten thousand. Here was how much 1 billion rice looked.

But Jeff Bezos’ fortune is more than $1 billion. His total asset is around $122 billion. So $1 billion dollars of rice weighed around 215 grams. Based on that weight, he went shopping.

Once he came back from the grocery store, he began with his experiment. Jeff Bezos’s total asset is $122 million. Multiplying this by 122, and we have 26 kilograms of rice. To demonstrate how much rice it is, Humphrey inserted a keyboard right in the middle of the heap of rice. And the rice was about half of the keyboard’s height.

He even showed how much the new home of Jeff Bezos in LA looks like physically. And here was how it looked.
