Apple Sues Indian-Origin Man Who Stalks Tim Cook And Makes Threat Of Gun Violence

Apple has been forced to file a lawsuit and ask for a restraint order against an Indian-origin man named Rakesh ‘Rocky’ Sharma, who is now a resident of San Francisco.

The reason for this act is that Sharma has reportedly made several threatening calls to Apple and has twice intruded on Tim Cook’s property, the company’s CEO. Sharman accused the iPhone maker of threatening his life while he was in the hospital.

In the court filing, the legal representative of Apple claimed that the man had been making several attempts to harass the company’s top executives since the 25^th of September, 2015.

The filing details that Sharman left a threatening voicemail for Tim Cook and later called Apple Care to make a threat of gun violence. Following this, he stalked Apple’s executive and brought a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of Champaign to his door in December last year. In January, he managed to do the same thing.

This stalking effort is followed by a demand for money claiming that Apple’s executive laughed and hung up on him while he was in the hospital. He also said that Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, was his legal representative.

Sharman is expected to show up for a court hearing on the third of March, which is when Apple’s temporary restraint order on him expires.

It is not uncommon for top executives of tech giants to have stalkers, Rakesh ‘Rocky’ Sharma has taken a step to far by trespassing Tim Cook’s property and make a threat of gun violence.

Sharman is also quite vocal on Twitter saying that Tim Cook is having serious issues within Apple and said that he should leave the Bay Area.
