The Covid-19 outbreak did bring out the worst in human beings. Many, fearing an indefinite lockdown, have rushed to the grocery stores nearby to stock up on essentials items, resulting in a shortage of these items. But the panic buying mode doesn’t stop.
Apart from this panic buying, some companies are trying to make some money from the outbreak. Recently, a Reddit user posted an advertisement from a furniture company in Indian about anti-coronavirus mattresses.
This reportedly anti-coronavirus mattress is being sold at Rs 15,000 and is said to be anti-allergic and anti-fungal as well. The ad can be found on the Bombay Samachar.
People only heavily criticized the company for using the pandemic to market their product and make money. One user wrote that if people continued to believe cow urine and cow dung could cure Covid-19, companies like this could easily manipulate them.
An anti-coronavirus mattress is nothing compared to the false theories of drinking cow urine to cure Covid-19. It got to an extent that Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha even organized a Gaumutra party at its Delhi office.
The Gaumutra party saw the participation of around 200 people. There are pictures of them with a spoon with cow urine.
