IIIT-Delhi Student Received A Rs 1.45 Crore Internship Offer From Facebook

This year, the highest offer has been made to a Computer Science female student from IIIT-Delhi with the package worth more than Rs 1.45 crore.

The placement records of IIIT (Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology) Delhi have been relatively impressive. There have already been 562 offers made to the students who are scheduled to graduate in 2020. Among those, 310 are full-time offers, while the rest is for an internship. One of the students just received an offer from Facebook.
This year, the highest offer has been made to a Computer Science female student. The package is worth more than Rs 1.45 crore. For other students, some receive an offer of Rs 33 lakh and Rs 43 lakh. The average compensation of the campus is Rs 16.33 lakh.
Companies that recruited students from the campus include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Tower Research, Wadhwani AI, HSBC MathWorks, Reliance, WDC, Samsung R&D, and Harmon Kardon.
Students also received internship offers from companies likes Adobe, Nvidia, and NetApp. While six internship offers were from Amazon, eight were from Nvidia, four were from NetApp, four were from Adobe and Tower Research. Six Lucky students received offers from Google. And only one made it to Facebook London.
The lucky student is a student from the batch of B.Tech CSE 2021. The stipend that she will be receiving is Rs 3 lakh and 31 thousand. Interns at Tower Research will be receiving a Rs 1 lakh stipend while Rs 93,000 is the amount of money that those at Google will be receiving.
The offers made to some of the IIIT students are a lot higher, compared to the offers that other students from other IITs received. Specifically, the highest offered that an IIT Bombay student received was RS 45 lakh. The amount of money that the student at IIIT Delhi received was around three and a half times higher.
